  • I'm sorry, but I agree with the intelligent responder who noted that it might not be the smartest move to leave a $9,000 ring on a bunch of rocks, where it could easily be washed out to sea. Those who think this is romantic, have a point, but it's also reckless, just the same.

  • People can only take so much abuse. As one of the other folks commented, flight attendants are over-taxed and underpaid. Why are they expected to take crap form passengers? Eventually (and in this person's case, it took 28 years), a person reaches a breaking point.
